Yeah, you read that title right.  I’m still not committed. It’s not that I don’t know what to do but I am having problems with my focus and direction that I want my business to go in.  I have always been a dreamer.  Someone who loves the idea of being one of those success stories at those networking meetings and someone who always wanted to have the video on his site with the fancy car and house.

Which makes it hard for me to stay focus on one opportunity and focus.  So I don’t.  I believe their is no end to a humans potential in this case focus and attention so YES! I am juggling many things right now work,a cleaning business,my Ebay business, and 2 blogs.  Now I just have to finally create a Game Plan and STICK TO IT!

….As a promise to myself,my God,and readers I will TONIGHT!

And put it on the site tomorrow!

How Leads Play A Part In A Home Business

Now if your new to business this term is new to you.  “Leads are the life blood of a business.”  A lead is a potential customer and the more leads you have the better chance you have at generating income.

Now in the home based business industry we don’t necessarily have a store front that we can place a huge banner on and hope people will see and come in.  We have to use other forms of marketing or ways to get these potential customers (leads).

…So how do we do it?

1.Word Of Mouth

2.Mailers,Flyers,Post cards

3.Internet

4.Other Offline methods

Now I’m not here to talk about each way to generate leads, for that’s done somewhere else on this site.  But to press upon the importance of this to your business.  Their are tricks to convert more leads to sales in a home business but the key is Traffic,Leads,Customers that will lead to “Work From Home Riches”….

Week 2 Dec 26th Progress Report

I plan on doing these post’s daily but the holidays aren’t easy on any man!

…Have you ever been to work,church,and around friends and family and they ask you what you want for Christmas?  Now you are stuck thinking if they are getting something and whether you should now get them something.  “I am a victim.  I purchased so many gift.  Going out of my holiday budget leaving me broke.”

But…
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!  I will be correcting 4 articles that were not approved by Ezine.  Along with my daily action plan for this week.

Dec 19th Day 1 “Making The Blueprint”

I think it’s safe to say this is day 1.  A home-business log from right from the beginning has to be helpful to whomever reading it, which is why I am just excited!…

Today I made the blueprint and wrote a few ezine articles.

The Blueprint

Their is a simple process to making money online.  Keep in mind I chose to combine my Ebay business,Clickbank business,and MLM together.

Why?….

Because they compliment each other very well.  It doesn’t have to be done this way.  Which is why I made this blueprint, because not only will it be my road map but will be able to help anyone in a home business…

The Formula For Any Home Biz

  1. Website (That can capture subscribers)
  2. Traffic
  3. Your Offer/Promise
  4. Build A Relationship
  5. Ask For Your Money

This is it in any online business.  Especially of you want to make it turnkey or automated.

Now my business plan was just a di-section of this formula. First I took the website.  I knew that it should contain a bold and attention grabbing  title.  It should instantly point out a problem my audience will have and last it should capture their information so I could contact them again.

….You may use

-A blog (this was my pick. Because now I don’t have to continue to create value,reports,products, and offers to keep my visitors interested!  When you go to a site you subscribe because of the free report they’ll give out.  But with a blog my daily posts are valuable enough.)  I write on a daily basis what I am currently doing in my business and also some tips to help someone with their problems.  Making the chance of someone opting in very likely!

-A regular static website

-Or a squeeze/capture page

Next I addressed traffic in my blueprint.  Now to this day I have no money.  It sucks because it is Christmas season but my faith that this time around I’ll be a winner keeps me positive!  “In a online business you have to be patient especially if your relying on free traffic like myself!

So…I CHOOSE 3 FORMS OF TRAFFIC!

SEO/ARTICLES/FORUMS

Seo and Article marketing was going to be a daily practice for me and I was going to work in the forums 3x a week.  I suggest choosing 1-3 forms of traffic types starting out and first becoming a master at them.

*I wrote how many articles I would write on a daily basis

*I wrote a list of keywords I would try to rank for

*I wrote my outbound link building strategy

*I listed my tracking method

*I listed the forums I would participate in

*And what I expected for each after a 60 day period

Next was the offer: This was easy because my website was a blog so my offer that made people subscribe and give me their name,email,and phone was my free training listed on my blog!  You see if you want to generate leads you better have a good and attractive offer and you also better make good on that promise!

For example: I promise to deliver them 7 day boot camp on making their business automated!  Which is all content from my site I just email it to them so they don’t have to search for it!

“Have you ever heard that people don’t trust you until they know how you care!” lol….Something like that!  I started brainstorming how I would build that trust.  And i found it!  “I would write a daily business log from my home business revealing every positive and negative!”

And finally I broke down how to ask for the sale!  And it’s simple I chose Tuesday (I explain why in a different article of mine.) To promote my primary business opportunity or a new affiliate product!  AND I ALSO CHOSE TO GET A BACK -END PRODUCT THAT WILL PROMOTE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS FROM A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS AND NAME (more details about this on the blog but here’s a link of the program I use: Back-end Profits!

December 18th The Day I Returned To The Internet Business Arena

I’ve been able to make thousands of dollars online but I have never gotten over the hump when it comes to being FULL TIME and PART TIME out of frustration I have returned back tot the work force!

…I had  hit a wall and hard!

I couldn’t figure out why I have not made it through the next step.

(The next statement I make will let you know what type of Man and character is possess…..)

I never planted a seed and waited long enough for it to produce good fruit! I had always been the type of person who could just take massive action as long as that action did what it said it was going to do….

*I wrote 10 articles a day hoping the outcome would be 5-10 leads a day…

*I create little mini blogs using perfect domain keyword combination to get it ranked on the first page of Google…

*I made prospecting calls day after day, “using a script hoping to close a lead a day”….

All of this was exactly what the money makers were doing but I was not making any money.

(What I had learned?….)

I learned that even though I did all of the right things.  I saw that I would go away from it to quickly.  I would jump to the next big thing.

So today on December 18th 2009 I am here to stay.  I know what needs to be done to make money online but I’m down to maybe $20.  So that simply means this journey will be longer than expected!

-I will log every day my progress,results,details of my business.  This blog will contain a log of every single aspect of building duplicable,turnkey,automated online business!

The 5 Step Formula For Making A Home Based Business Work

When I started this blog I looked for the perfect balance in keywords and article structure to get this website ranked!…

Completely forgetting why I made it!

….This blog is to take anyone from the beginning to the end when it comes to actively working a home-based business!

Which is why I am revealing the 5 step formula for any home-based business…

1.Traffic-

Now you may be wondering why traffic first… But before I go that far let’s cover the reason for traffic in the first place!

“I open a grocery store 10 miles from the nearest resident in a town where everyone has plenty of money,everyone drives,and needs access to groceries!  (Meaning everyone want’s to buy or at least give my store a try…) But they have no clue I am 10 miles away behind a forest of trees….What do I do?  I may go in town and tell people that I’m in business,I may put a ad in the local paper.  But no matter what you know and I know that I have to do something or NO ONE AT ALL WILL COME TO MY STORE!”

Traffic is the life blood of a online business.  No business can run without someone coming in their store and for us that store is our website!…

So eve before creating a website learn 2 ways to getting traffic and master them!  “You may say hold up Mason but wouldn’t that traffic be pointed at nothing if I don’t have a website.”  And the answer is “YES” but what I have found is that we ALL get the website done but it’s the traffic that we never get right!  Our business has no life nor chance without it’s “life blood” (TRAFFIC)!

2.Website (One That Captures “names and emails”)-

I use squeeze pages,blogs,and even my companies site to capture and entertain traffic but for all different reasons.  But the one thing that is common they all have a feature where they capture that new visitors name and email!  “The money is in the follow up” This is true in conventional business but KING in the home based business industry.

Lets say it takes you 1 dollar and 10 minutes to send 10 visitors to your website.  If you did that once every day for a week you would have 70 visitors and had invest 70 minutes and $7 of your time and money!

…NOW! Imagine you did that while getting 10% of those visitors contact info.  “The following week you generate another 70 visitor but this time you have 10 visitors to resend information to!  Building a list is more than just time and money management but the key to residual income!

3.The Promise-

Now in the home based industry to get you have to give which is why you offer or “promise” to send them something that will help them on their way of becoming wealthy online!  You want to convert more than 10% of your traffic!  “Then come up with a better sounding or looking PROMISE!“

4.The Relationship-

It doesn’t matter what your selling because people won’t buy from you unless they trust you.  A start is to deliver on that promise but to get further ahead.  Show them repeatedly why they should buy from you.  Address their needs and even go the extra mile and show them YOU!

“I go to a deli to get a bagel and coffee every morning. ($364 days a year) It costs $2.  I give this deli $728 Every year not because of his great coffee and bagel-BUT- because of the way he has talked to me and and welcomed me day after day!  That relationship is worth the extra 4 blocks i walk, passing by a “Dunking donuts and another deli”

5.The Sale-

You can make money from home in almost any business the online arena has to offer even if you 3-5 steps right but when you succeed on all FIVE you will notice a significant amount of money!   Reply to this article below and I’ll tell you exactly how to apply it your particular business!
